On the lighter side, Lorraine is an accomplished singer having founded several San Francisco Bay Area vocal groups, represented the USA in 4 international choral tours and was a "Singer of the Year" contestant in 1993. Today she is a member of the Carolina Voices, a featured Charlotte soloist and sings in a gospel/blues band.
